A Refresh

Hello there. It’s been a while. :)

You might have noticed a few changes to my website. When I started my game designer journey, I thought it’d be simpler to have different websites for my author site and game dev portfolio so anyone visiting me would get exactly where they wanted to go. Now that I’m starting my internship and getting closer to the end of my education, it feels strange to keep them separate. My writing and game design will influence each other (at least regarding my schedule), and I think it makes sense to keep everything together.

On my homepage, I now have two portals (or buttons, if you prefer ;) that will take you to my books or to my games page where I’ll list projects I’ve worked on. Now that I’m beginning work with an established game company, I won’t be able to share specifics about what I’m working on until they make a public announcement or the game is released, so that page will probably remain rather quiet. However, if I find time to work on a personal project, I will share it with you here.

An Author Update

As I’m still at the beginning of my game design journey, I still don’t know what my publishing schedule will look like going forward. There are only so many hours in the day, and I’m prioritizing learning as much as I can about writing and designing for games, so all my current works-in-progress will have to wait a little longer. For now, I have to remind myself that I’m in a slower writing season, and that’s ok.

Thank you again to everyone who has read and enjoyed my work. It means so much to me that you see the wonder that I do in my worlds and characters.
